Skaggs Elementary Trunk or Treat & Fall Festival!

A safe, daylight Fall Festival celebration filled with candy, games, inflatables, and family fun.

Date: Saturday, October 24th
Time: 3:00 PM – 5:00 PM (Trunk set-up begins at 2:15 PM)
Location: Skaggs Elementary School Gym Parking Lot (3201 Russell Creek Dr, Plano, TX 75025)
Admission: Free for all Skaggs Elementary students & families!

Safe Daylight Trick-or-Treating: Kids can parade in their favorite costumes and trick-or-treat from vehicle to vehicle in a closed, safe parking lot.

Host a Trunk & Join the Fun!

Help us make magic for our students! Decorate the trunk of your car, SUV, truck bed, or golf cart and hand out goodies to 200+ trick-or-treaters. Click the button below to register!

Trunk Host Guidelines:

Arrival & Check-In: Arrive between 2:15 PM and 2:45 PM via the Russell Creek Road entrance.
Safety Lock-In: For child safety, all trunks must be set up by 2:45 PM. No vehicles may enter after 3:00 PM or exit before ~5:45 PM.
Candy: Please bring factory-wrapped, store-bought candy or treats for 200+ children.
Decorations: Keep decorations family-friendly and non-ghoulish (no heavy gore, please!). Note that electrical outlets will not be available.
Alcohol-Free: This is a strictly alcohol-free event.

Schedule of Events

2:15 PM – 2:45 PM: Vehicle Arrival, Check-In & Setup
2:45 PM: Final Decorating Touch-Ups & Volunteer Briefing
3:00 PM: 🎃 Trunk or Treat & Festival Gates Open! (Parking lot closed to traffic)
5:00 PM: Festival Concludes & Clean-Up Begins
5:45 PM – 6:00 PM: Parking Lot Cleared for Vehicle Departure

Get Involved / Volunteer

Events like this are only possible with the help of amazing parents and community members! We are looking for volunteers to help with vehicle check-in, inflatable supervision, and clean-up.
