Skaggs PTA's Senior Scholarship

Eligibility Requirements

You must be:

A graduating Senior who attended Skaggs Elementary School for the full year of 5th grade; and
Be a graduating senior for the 2026-2027 school year; and
Enrolling in an accredited undergraduate degree program at a college or university for the upcoming academic year.

The scholarship is awarded based on financial need, volunteer service, academic merit, and

essay response.

Completed Application through Google Forms.
Official copy of your high school transcript.
Short Essay on Google Forms.

Application Deadline

Friday, April 16, 2027 by 11:59pm.

Senior Reception is on May 13, 2027!

The scholarship recipient will be awarded the Senior Reception.

Volunteer

Time To Update Your Volunteer Credentials!

Starting July 18th!

Before you are able to volunteer at Skaggs, you MUST complete your volunteer application, online orientation (very quick) and criminal history check. It will take about a week before you are approved.

These three requirements must be completed annually to be eligible to volunteer in Plano ISD. All volunteers new and old must register with VOLY. Go to plano.voly.org and follow the directions. It only takes a few minutes.
