FAQs About Joining

Do I have to volunteer if I join the PTA?
No. Becoming a PTA member does not mean you’re required to volunteer. While we welcome help and have many volunteer opportunities, participation is always optional.

Do I have to attend meetings?
No. We hold four general PTA meetings per year, and while you're encouraged to attend, it is not required.

Do I need to spend a lot of time at school?
Not at all. We offer a variety of volunteer options—some can be done from home, others take just a few hours. Whether you're a working parent or have limited availability, we can help match you with something that fits your schedule and interests.
