About skaggs pta

The Skaggs Elementary PTA is a dedicated partnership of parents, teachers, and staff committed to enriching the educational experience of more than 320 students at Skaggs Elementary in Plano ISD. Our mission is to foster a supportive and engaged school community by funding programs and initiatives that enhance learning, celebrate teachers, and strengthen school spirit.

Through fundraising and sponsorships, the PTA helps provide vital resources that go beyond the district budget—supporting classroom grants, field trips, technology enhancements, student enrichment activities, and family engagement events.

Partnering with the Skaggs PTA means investing in the success of our students and educators while gaining visibility within a vibrant, family-focused community. Together, we can continue to make Skaggs Elementary a place where every child thrives and every partnership makes a difference.

Volunteer

Time To Update Your Volunteer Credentials!

Starting July 1st!

Before you are able to volunteer at Skaggs, you MUST complete your volunteer application, online orientation (very quick) and criminal history check. It will take about a week before you are approved.

These three requirements must be completed annually to be eligible to volunteer in Plano ISD. All volunteers new and old must register with VOLY by creating a NEW account. Go to plano.voly.org and follow the directions. It only takes a few minutes!
